Voyage Care is a leading care provider supporting over 3,500 people with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries and other complex needs across the UK. Rugeley Community Centre is the home of the Voyage Rugeley Day Service.

From the Centre, Voyage offer individualised care packages that incorporate social, vocational, leisure and educational activities. Activity plans are tailored to each person’s aspirations, needs and interests and are designed to help individuals to pursue a more independent lifestyle.

The Rugeley team aims to:

• Provide work opportunities – paid and unpaid
• Teach enabling skills so that people gain the confidence to use public transport and local facilities
• Promote future goals and aspirations of independence
• Support people to develop relationships
• Use local facilities
• Empower people to look after their own health needs by using local primary care facilities.
