About us - Rugeley Community Church

Welcome to Rugeley Community Centre, the home of Rugeley Community Church, Rugeley Foodbank and Voyage Care Rugeley. Since 2015 Rugeley Community Church have been operating the Centre with a heart to meet people’s needs, either directly at the Centre or by signposting to other resources in the area.

“We want to see Rugeley restored and revived with a strong identity and a thriving, joined-up support infrastructure that means people in need are helped and people who want to help can engage and be part of the solution. We want to become a wellbeing hub where we will see physical, emotional and spiritual transformation.”

As part of this we provide various services and also hire out our sports hall and meeting rooms to a broad range of organisations and groups, which further meet the needs of our community. Meet the team

We have a core team of staff at the Centre supported by a growing number of volunteers and we all have a heart to give back to our community.

Chris Fielding

Manager

Chris works full-time overseeing the daily running and development of the Centre whilst also building links with other people and resources in the area.

Dave Webb

Building Manager

Dave maintains the building and prepares rooms for hirers. He has also led on transforming the Centre into a clean, well-maintained and welcoming environment.

Sharon Powell

Centre Coordinator

Sharon runs the front desk 3 days a week, welcoming all building users, managing bookings and taking care of administrative duties.

Richard Miller

Rugeley Community Church/Centre Director

Richard’s primary focus is being a full-time leader at Rugeley Community Church. He is based at the Centre and so is often around during the day. Richard is also one of the directors who oversee the running of Rugeley Community Centre.
