How to find us
Rugeley Community Centre (previous known as Rugeley Youth and Community Centre) seems to be something of a secret location in Rugeley, however it is not that difficult to find. At the north end of the Horse Fair on the road from Lichfield to Stone is what is locally known as the “Miner’s Island” (because of the 4 statues on the island). From this Island take the Hednesford road and after 50 yards (IMMEDIATELY after the pedestrian crossing) take the right turn up Burnthill Lane. After 200 yards you will see our sign on your right at the end of a drive which leads down to the centre. There are plenty of parking spaces next to the centre and the entrance can be found on the right hand side of the building as you park.
If you are coming on foot to the centre there is a pedestrian crossing 30 yards up the road towards Stone from the Miners Island (just opposite the Petrol Station). As you cross the road you will need to walk 10/15 yards away from the Island and you will see an entrance and footpath through the hedge, you will not be able to miss the centre. The entrance will be the first glass door you come to as you go up the path!
